Doubt isn't something you outgrow. It shows up every time you try to do something bigger.

In this episode, Dr. Una gets honest about every season doubt has shown up in her own business — when she launched the EntreMD Podcast, when she started the EntreMD Business School, when she wrote her first book, when she talked about seven figures as a floor. She also explains why doubt isn't reserved for beginners. It shows up for high performers, strong teams, and businesses with everything they need to win. The only difference between people who move and people who stall is what they've decided to do when it arrives.

She walks through seven concrete strategies she actually uses: deciding your business is good right now, keeping your vision in front of you, using real-life vision boards (people, not posters), redefining what challenges actually mean, making peace with the gestation period, cutting off the fire extinguishers in your life, and hosting your own pep rallies. None of these are abstract. She gives you the exact language she uses, the mental shifts she's made, and what it looks like in practice.

This is the episode for anyone who has ever hesitated when they should have moved.

Tune in and get inspired!

People come because of your confidence in your capacity as a coach to create results. People buy your confidence. And so when that confidence and conviction is replaced with doubt, people hear you talk, but they're not moved to follow you. And we're gonna fix that today. Hi dogs. Welcome to the Entre MD Podcast, where it's all about helping amazing physicians just like you embrace entrepreneurship so you can have the freedom to live life and practice medicine on your terms. I'm your host, Dr. Una. If you are going to be a physician who is going to build a business that is a game changer, a business that allows you to have a lot of impact, a business that allows you to create time freedom and financial freedom, you are going to be a person who is going to have to deal with what we're going to talk about today. This thing has the capacity to stop you, to stop your dreams from ever becoming reality, to make you function far below your potential. This thing has the capacity to stop you. Like you may want to do a podcast, or you may want to do a YouTube channel, or you may want to raise your prices, or you may want to create even bigger results for your clients or for your patients. You may want to change the game you're playing in altogether. This will show up to stop you every single time. And that thing is doubt. And if you don't learn to deal with doubt, it will cripple your business 100% of the time. So today, on this episode of the On Traim Day Podcast, I am going to show you seven ways I have kept doubt in its place. So it doesn't stop me from becoming everything I can become. Every time I have done something significant in my business, doubt has shown up every single time. To the last very significant thing I did when I started the OnTraMD podcast, it showed up. Like, who are you? Who do you think you are? Who do you what do you think you have to say to people? Like, how do you think this is going to create results? Who do you think is going to care about this? It showed up when I started a YouTube channel. It showed up in a big way when I started the on-trained business school. Like, excuse you, you have one business. You have a grand total of one business. Well, I had on-train D at the time, so I guess two businesses. And now you think you can teach people to do business? I mean, like, you don't have a business degree. Who are you to talk to these people? When I started talking about people building profitable businesses, it showed up. When I talked about building profitable six and seven-figure businesses, it showed up. When I said, hey, well, let's make seven figures a new floor, it showed up. When I wrote my first books, it's like, oh my goodness, now you're going to be seen for who you really are. Nobody wants to read what you have to say. This is not going to be good. It's going to be like you repeating yourself the entire time. You were not going to get good results for this, and on and on and on and on and on. And if I did not deal with doubt, I would not be in the position I'm in now. I would not have lived a life that would have touched thousands of people. I would not have the OnTrain Day podcast. This is episode 536. I want to think about how mind-boggling that is. We would not have this because doubt can cripple you. And it doesn't cripple people who can't get the job done. It is an equal opportunity thing. It attempts to cripple everybody. So you can have the best potential, but the best potential plus doubt is going to equal to not having the result. The best team plus doubt in the team leader is going to lead to a team that underperforms. The best company that can take, I mean, you have the raw material to take your company to heights. Your company will never see those heights if doubt is constantly showing up. And so I want you to really lean into this no matter what big project you have. We just had the private practice summit, right? I've played with doubt long enough to know if I'm going to do an event like that, of course, doubt is going to show up. It's going to be like, oh, you know, people are not going to come and people are going to come and they're going to say, oh my goodness, I learned all this from the podcast. Why did I waste my time to come here? People are going to come into the room and, you know, people are going to say, I don't see people like me, and they're not going to network with people. People are going to walk away saying it was a waste of the time. Like these are things that come to everybody. Do you see somebody who's winning and thriving and moving forward and all that? It's not because they don't have doubt, it's because they've learned to move forward in spite of doubt. You know, doubt shows up in many things, many different ways. But let me read some definitions here, right? Okay. So we have doubt as a verb, which is an action, and doubt as a noun referring to a state of mind. Okay. I'm going to read both of them. And I want you to realize what we're about to talk about. This doubt is the enemy. This is not your friend. This is not a pet. This is not something you're allowed to live everywhere. It lives in your life, in your business, it brings death and destruction. That's what it does. Like, and it just cripples you. So you're never able to actualize your full potential. And we don't have time for that. Okay. Okay. So let's look at this. So overall, we have that doubt is a feeling of uncertainty. Interesting. So, Dr. Una, are you saying I can move with certainty? Yes, I am saying that. You can be certain. But there's so many things that are uncertain. You can be certain in uncertainty. There's some things in my businesses that are uncertain, but I am certain. And I'm going to walk you through how I do this, okay? So it's a feeling of uncertainty or a lack of conviction. And when you see someone who has conviction about their business and the results it can create and the good it's going to do in the world and all of that, you know. When you meet somebody without conviction, you know. And by the time we're done today, you will understand what to do to create the antidote to doubts, which is that conviction. Okay? Okay. So a feeling of uncertainty or a lack of conviction about the truth, reality, or capability of something. So when you doubt your capability as the CEO, when you think you're uncertain of it or you're not convinced of it, right? You show up as someone who has doubt. And let me tell you something: people don't buy what you sell. People buy your confidence in what you sell. People come because of your confidence in your practice and its ability to create results. People come because of your confidence in your capacity as a coach to create results. People buy your confidence. And so when that confidence and conviction is replaced with doubt, you people hear you talk, but they're not moved to follow you. And we're going to fix that today. And again, this doesn't just apply to clients or whatever or patients. This applies to your team. This applies to your referral sources. This applies to all of it. How do I become convinced? Right? Okay. All right. So here we go. Let's go. So doubt as a verb, okay. The meaning is to be uncertain, to question or to lack trust in someone or something. Now you may do this in you as a CEO. You may do this with your business, with your podcast, with your books, with your events, right? To be uncertain. Then as a noun, a feeling of uncertainty or state of affairs that causes hesitation. This is the one of the biggest problems of doubt, is that it causes hesitation. So where you should be moving with precision, where you should be moving with speed, you replace that with hesitation. Okay? All right. So clearly that's not something that you know we want to deal with. We want to be people who have confidence in what we do, have faith in what we do, we're convinced, right? Where we have conviction because these are the people who are the movers and shakers and get things done. Okay, so I want to share with you seven ways. These are things that I do, these are not necessarily things I read from a textbook. These are things that I have done over the years to put myself in a state of confidence. And I will say this here: the doubt never goes away. The invitation to doubt never goes away. Okay, so whenever I do events, it comes up. Whenever I go to speak on stage, it comes up. Whenever, like it comes up. But it is up to me to stay in my certainty and stay in my conviction and stay in faith and stay in all of that. It's my choice. So don't see doubt as something that you must do. You must not do it. You must not do it at all. But you want to put yourself in a position where whenever that comes up, you see it as an option. I can have doubt or I can have conviction. And what do I need to do to starve my doubt and feed my conviction? Because they're both going to be there. I mean, like if you come to terms with this, it will make your life so much easier. You won't think, oh, if I had mastered this, I still won't be dealing with doubts. You don't outgrow doubt. You just outgrow its ability to hurt you. Okay. So it's always, it's always a fork in the road. It's never an only option. You can doubt or you can be convinced. You can doubt or you can be confident. You have both options. Everybody has both options. Okay. All right. So let's look at let's look at seven, seven things here. Number one, number one, decide your business is good once and for all. Once and for all, decide your business is good. Decide you as a CEO, you're good once and for all. Just decide. And you might say, okay, Dr. Una, what are you talking about? One of the things that triggers doubt is you you may look at what somebody else is doing and you're like, oh, I'm not doing it as good as them. You may look at your vision and you're like, oh, I'm not there yet, right? Like, you know, you have this practice, for instance, that you're building and you're like, oh, I'm gonna build this practice, I'm gonna take you to this much of revenue, I'm gonna have this kind of team, all of that stuff. But really, now you're seeing three patients a day, or you're seeing a full complement of patients, but you're you have a doctor, you just hired it, like this is gonna be amazing, and they have five people on their schedule every day, right? Meanwhile, you want them to have 17 or 20 or whatever your number is. And so it puts you in this position where, oh, we're not something is missing. This, you know, we're not getting this done and all of that stuff. There is no confidence and conviction to be had from there. You have to realize my business as it is right now is good, is really good, and I am committed to making it better. It's good, and I'm committed to making it better. So we're good. But there are these opportunities right now. So these are no longer problems. They're opportunities for improvement, opportunities to make it better. So you can have conviction, you can talk about what you do with conviction. You can own the stage of business you're in. You can own your the results that you have right now and be proud of them and work on getting it better. But it's not, oh yeah, we had a full schedule, so we're so we're good. And this month we don't have a schedule, so we're bad. You know, I'm a coach, I did this event, and 300 people came, so we're good. I did this other event, and 50 people came and we're bad. No, my business is good. My business is good, and I am committed to making it better. So I put it this way like, don't be ashamed of your baby. Everything that is great started off small. Everything, everything that is great started off small, right? You look at a Harvard trained cardiothoracic surgeon doing their thing, they started off as a burping, spitting, pooping on everybody's baby. And then they became that, right? And so be proud of what you have. Like, no mother is looking at their one-year-old, waiting for the person to graduate college to be proud of them. The mom is proud now, and she's just gonna keep getting prouder and prouder as the baby keeps doing more and more. Like, do you do you see what I'm saying? And so decide your business is good. It's good. And if you're having if you're struggling with this, think about one person your business has helped. One. And think about it, and think about what the ripple effect of that could have been and all of that. Lean into that. What is that? That is you deciding your business is good. So, when can you be convinced that your business is the option for people right now? When can you be convinced that I'm the leader to follow right now? I'm a good leader, really good leader, right? And I'm committed to getting better. You see what I'm saying? Like that's the standing point. I want you to just decide. Decide. In fact, on this one, let me put it this way: take the pledge. You know, my business is good right now, okay? And you can send me a DM, uh PM on Facebook or Instagram or LinkedIn and say, Dr. Una, I took the pledge. My business is good right now. Right now, okay? This will save you so much pain, so much suffering. This will remove so much hesitation from you as you just own where you are. And I'm like, it's not someday, it's right now, right now. That's number one. Okay. And you might say, Oh, Dr. Una, but I just had my first patient. You right now. Oh, Dr. Una, I just, you know, I just had my you know, third coaching client. That's you right now. Dr. Una, I just did an event and I had 12 people come. That's you right now. Oh my goodness, Dr. Una, I'm at 5 million on my journey to 10 million. That's you right now. Own way you are. Mommies are proud of their babies at every stage. This is the way it works. Okay. That's number one. Number two, number two is focus on your vision. And you might say, what do you mean, Dr. Una? Of course I'm focused on my vision. No, no, no. You want to have a clear picture, as clear as you can get of your preferred future, of your vision, right? And so, for instance, you have a business and you are trying to, you know, you've done a million, you're trying to take it to three million. You want to have that picture, the three million, you know, on your profit and loss statement that came in, the kind of team that you're leading that gives you the capacity to do that, the the way you're showing up as a leader to pull that off, the quality of clients, the number of clients, the number of patients you see, what the workdays like that, and all of that. You want to have that clear, just the way you're clear about what is happening currently, you're clear about what happened in the past, you're clear on your challenges. You want to be clear on your vision. And this is the deal. What you focus on gets stronger. If all you're thinking about is all the things your business doesn't have yet, doesn't do yet, is not yet, you can never live above doubt. You will always be stopped by doubt because the constant message you're focusing on is something is missing, something is not good, we're not good enough, we're not there yet. And guess what? You are always going to have opportunity for improvement in your business, which means that you're never going to arrive. And so if you're waiting till you arrive for you to be proud of your business or to go all out or to offer people to come work with you and all of that stuff, it's never going to happen because your business is and will always be a construction site. And a construction site, there are things that are broken, there are things that are missing, there's sand everywhere, there's noise everywhere, and all of those things. And so instead of feeding that, now it doesn't mean we deny that, but what we focus on, bood over, think about, meditate on all of that is where we are going. You sit on this so much that you can almost feel it and touch it. Like I don't tell people to pause when they're listening to the entream d podcast, but I want you to do something. I want you to for just give yourself this freedom. And I want you to think. Okay, so if you're driving, don't close your eyes. But if you aren't, I want you to close your eyes for a moment and just think about this. I want you to think about your business. I want you to think about that revenue goal you want to hit. This is not a time for the how-to. This is a time to just sit with it. I want you to think about the number of clients you work with to pull that off. I want you to think about the kind of clients. So these are people you love working with, patients, clients, whichever, right? I want you to think about that. I want you to think about the team members you have, your rock star team, your A team. I want you to think about how you're perceived in the community. Think about how many Google reviews, five-star Google reviews you have, how people find you on ChatGPT and Cloud when they're researching. I want you to think about if it's applicable to your awards that your business wants. I want you to think about, you know, how you're showing up for your team and leading them. Think about the time you're able to take off, the time freedom, the financial freedom, all of this created for you. And if you need to pause this for a second to really lean into this, I want you to do that. And then from today, let this be the dominant picture you walk around with. Are we saying deny the facts, like the current state of things? No. But if you focus on the current state of things, you're just going to keep reproducing them. If you can focus on where you're going, you can go there. Right. And so the second thing is focus on your vision. Focus on your vision, focus on your vision. So you can feed that. So you can start thinking in those terms, showing up that way, acting that way, taking strategy that way, expecting of your team that way, expecting of the marketplace that way. Okay? All right. So that's number two. Number three, keep real life vision boards in front of you. This is the hack of hacks for me, you know, because I have the uncertainty. I don't think I can do this. I'm not the kind of person who can do this. Does this actually work? Do people actually do this? There are a few things as powerful as then taking all that doubt and putting yourself in a room where people are doing for fun what you're trying to do for real. Right. And so you watch people lead teams in the way you haven't even dared to dream of. You watch people have the kind of teams. You're like, whoa, you can do that. You watch people like somebody's like, oh, you know, you know, I grew my business by a million dollars this quarter. And you're like, wait, wait, what? Right? I grew by two million. I do that. Like you, and you're like, wait, you see people on dominant stages that you're like, people like me don't go on stages like that. You want to, you real life vision boards. So these are people, people who are doing what you want to do. Now, some of these people, you'll be in a room with them, some of these people you can read their books, some of these people you can listen to their podcasts, but the more proximity you have, the better, right? Especially if you're in a container where they can share their lives with you, meaning you get to see the challenges, you get to see how they navigate the challenges, you get to see them win in spite of challenges, you get to see the strategies they're using, you get to see all of this stuff. Keep real life vision boards in front of you. They will be your reminder that the doubt is unnecessary because there are people just like you with challenges just like you, with upbringing just like you, who are doing what your mind has convinced you you cannot do. You know, I'd hear people say this a lot where they're like, oh, I channeled my inner Dr. Una, or I channeled my inner Rachel Rubin, or I channeled my right, because now you're like, how would that person show up? And you're not copying, you're modeling. Right? I don't call it copy and paste, I call it model and paste, right? And you show up. I do this at events, right? I listen to a lot of great speakers. And so if I'm going to speak, whether it's online, offline, podcasts, whatever, and I feel this doubt and all of those stuff, I'll just put on something, listen to a great speaker. I'm just listening to this. And when I show up, I can mirror their energy, right? Sometimes I watch myself, but you know, I can mirror the energy. Like this is how we show up, right? Because I identify with them, like we the people. This is how we show up. We show up this level of comfort on stage. We show up with this, right? We sell like this and all of that stuff. Put real life vision boards in front of you. It puts the doubts in check. Number four, redefine challenges, okay? So redefine challenges, delays, disappointments, things that discourage you, and all of that. I used to think when I had challenges that it meant I was doing something wrong. And because I was doing something wrong, I would doubt myself, right? Because I was doing something wrong. I was not the kind of CEO who could move forward in spite of stuff and all of those things. But this is the deal challenges come to everybody, delays come to everybody, disappointments come to everybody, problems come to everybody. It doesn't mean you did something wrong. Now it could mean you did something wrong, but you can never do things so right that all of these things go away. This is part of the course. This is part of the way things happen. It just is. It just is. And so when you recognize that, you don't feel like, man, I thought I should have outgrown this by now. I should have known enough to not let this happen. All this up now. There are things we always want to learn from our challenges. That's how we convert our challenges to a gift. We convert our challenges to gifts by learning from them and pulling wisdom from them, right? Okay. But you cannot use it to fuel your doubt. Because left to its, like your mind left to itself, it will use that as evidence that you don't know what you're doing. You're not a good CEO, you're not a good team leader, you don't know how to sell, blah, blah, blah, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah. No. Challenges come to everybody. Okay. For instance, we live on planet Earth and we have a constant challenge we all have to face, which is called gravity. What goes up must come down, right? And we are trying to move forward. It's a picture, right? It's a picture of the fact that there's something trying to keep you down. Don't fly, don't go high, don't do any of that thing. Stay down. Now, of course, there's benefits of gravity, but I want you to understand the picture I'm trying to share here. So if somebody wanted to go in a plane so they could go further faster, they would have to engage a different law. They would have to engage the law of lift. And if you don't engage the law of lift, you'll be subject to gravity, right? Like that's just the way things are. And so, will challenges show up? Yes. I've been alive for 47 years. I have never had a year without challenges. Like, challenge is just a part of life. And so when you see people flying, they're not flying because they don't have gravity. They're flying because they've engaged another law, which is the law of lift. And so you're constantly asking yourself, what do I need to do to overcome this challenge? This challenge? Whose help do I need to overcome this challenge? What strategy do I need to employ to overcome this challenge? How do I need to think in order to overcome this challenge? What are you trying to do? You're trying to engage. The law of lift so you can escape the law of gravity. Gravity is there for everybody. And the second you're like, I think I got this, I'm gonna disengage the law of lift. Guess what happens? You come crashing down because there is gravity. Jim Rohn said it this way: don't wish it was easier, wish you were better. Right? And so you ask yourself, who do I need to become so this challenge doesn't stop me? Now, does that mean you won't have challenges? No, you just probably won't have that one. And new challenges will show up, right? So you want to redefine challenges. Don't make it bad, don't make it a problem, don't make it mean anything about you, don't make it mean anything about your business. Just look at it. Like even in my business, right? When I see things and I'm like, huh, this is an issue. I don't then start celebrating the 10th year anniversary of the issue. The next thing is, how do we make this not an issue, right? How do we make this not an issue? And we take care of it, it becomes a project, we move on. That's the way we interpret challenges. Okay. So I want you to start thinking about it that way. Like, huh, interesting. There's a challenge. Okay, let's work at this. Okay. Okay. So that's number four. Number five, make peace with the gestation period. Okay. Now, no matter how good you are as a mother, it takes nine months to process a baby. You can't say, I'm so good. I take so much folic acid. I go to prenatal appointments every single day. I do this. And so I'm going to shorten my pregnancy to four months. We don't do that. And it's the same way in the natural, it's the same way with our businesses. If your business needs six months to create a result, it is what it is. It needs nine months to create a result, it is what it is. You don't necessarily have control over the gestation period. You have control over the speed and volume of your execution. Okay. So what you want to be quote unquote impatient with is the speed and volume of your expectation of your execution. And then you want to be patient with the gestation period with your results. Okay. So for instance, I decide that I want to take my business to 10 million in revenue. Wonderful. This is a great decision. And I look at it and I know that there are a few levers that I need to pull. And those levers include two critical hires. And I may say that it is a director of marketing, and I may say that it is an ops manager. Okay, the person who's running the whole shit. Okay. Or maybe more like a COO. Okay. Now that I've decided to do these two things, I'm doing all the things I'm doing in my business, but I recognize I need two team players. Otherwise, I'm not going to be able to pull this off. These are the two big levers. Now, once I'm done making that decision, I can control when exactly I hire this person. I can control the activities that control, like you see what I'm saying? Like, and so I may not find somebody tomorrow, but I can have my job ads out. I can talk to everyone in my network. I can post them on social media. I can have meetings with people. There's the speed and execution behind this, right? And so that's what I have control over. I don't have control over the gestation period directly. Like, do I have indirectly? Yes, but I don't have directly, right? And a gestation period is not bad. It's just the time it takes for something to happen. If you are somebody who understands this, you will be the person who becomes unstoppable because you just cannot be stopped. You're like, okay, what do I need to do? Speed and volume of execution rather than sitting and whining and complaining and being stressed out because the result I want hasn't happened yet. You don't have direct, there's no amount of thinking about why the result hasn't happened yet that makes the result appear. What helps it is the speed and execution of the things that create the result. So make peace with the gestation period. Some things are gonna need time, but you don't wait passively for the gestation period. You wait actively. What does that mean? Speed and volume of execution. Do your part, do it quickly, and do it a lot. The important thing about this gestation period is you it introduces doubts if you don't understand it. You're like, oh, you know, if it was gonna happen, it would have happened already. No, ma'am, no, sir. We don't doubt. Our business is good. I'm good as a CEO, right? And so while this is taking time, what am I gonna do? Speed and volume of execution are the things that create the result. Boom, let's go. And you show confidently and you get what needs to be done, done. Number six, eliminate fire extinguishers. Fire extinguishers are people they take away the life of your dreams. You've met these people, you talk to them about your private practice. They're like, you can't do that. Private practice is dead. It's such a struggle, it's such a hustle. Nobody's winning, blah, blah, blah. Do, do, do, do. I tell people, I said, listen, I got enough doubt on my own. I don't need to do a collaboration project with you to acquire your doubt, too. So if I find somebody like that, I promise you, we are talking about the weather. We're talking about the weather. We are talking about outfits. Look at me talking about outfits. If you can manage that, we're talking about our kids, we're talking about that. We are not talking about business. I do not talk about business with fire extinguishers ever, ever, ever, ever. I don't talk to them about it. Why? I have six strategies to get rid of doubt. Clearly, doubt shows up. I don't need yours. Okay. So there are people who, when you talk to them, you feel like throwing away your vision. The confidence you have is gone. You're so much doubt and fear in your business. Stop talking to them. Talk to them about the weather. Talk to them about outfits, talk to them about shopping, talk to them about anything if you must talk to them. But do not present your baby to somebody who will kill it. Your business may not be a new business, but I want you to hear what I'm saying here. Every new step up is like a newborn. Like, so your business has been doing 2 million, all of this stuff. You're like, I want to take you to 5 million. I want to take you to 7 million, right? That's a newborn. You've never hired a practice administrator, you want to hire that. That's a that's a newborn. That idea is a newborn. You decided that, you know, as a coach, you want to take your business from a like a coaching, like a one-on-one coaching kind of thing to an institute. That's a newborn. That's a newborn baby. You've decided you've done the one-to-one as far as selling now. You want to go one to many. That's a newborn baby. You want to host an event, that's a newborn baby. You want to launch a new podcast, that's a newborn baby. You want to write a book, that's a newborn. I'm not saying you're a newbie in business. I'm saying you have this new level you want to go to. Whenever you're trying to do that, doubt is going to show up. And the worst thing you can do is then put yourself around people that sell you on their own doubt, right? And so I want you to think about your business as a newborn, meaning we don't take newborns shopping because we don't want them to be around people who are contagious. We don't take them to big parties like non-fo-family parties because we don't want them to be exposed. We don't just let anybody come visit us when we have a newborn because we don't want our babies exposed. In the same way, don't expose your babies to fire extinguishers because they will kill them. They're going to be more resilience later, right? Like I can talk to somebody about entream D and they're like, oh, doctors can't win as entrepreneurs. What you're talking about is not going to work. It doesn't matter at this point because I've helped thousands of people and I've seen so many stories. And you can't convince me that it doesn't work. But there was a time when I was doing it and had results with a few people. And I was also wondering because doubt would show up. Like I knew, but there was doubt there as well, right? It was a newborn at that time. It's not a newborn now. So you're new, but I have things that are newborns in my business now. Don't expose them to fire extinguishers. Okay. Okay. Number seven. Number seven, host regular pep rallies for yourself. Okay. So I want you to think about it. Doubt is like, you know, I used to call my inner credit Vicky, right? And I had a weird spelling for it. So if your name is Vicky, it's not you. Okay. But and then Vicky's just yapping. You can't do this. You can't do that. You're not good. Look at what you did the other way. That team member quit. They don't, that's how bad of a boss you are. Triggering, triggering all this doubt, right? Triggering all this doubt. But imagine all of that. And then on the other side, there's no yapping. There's no, there's no counter. There's no counter. You need to have pep rallies to counter that, right? Okay, so let me give you an example. And this is going to be a funny example. So my husband and I, we co-pastor a church. And my husband is a very dynamic speaker. I mean, he's just a brilliant speaker. And when when we started this, you know, sometimes he would be out of town and he's like, you know, handle the service. And in the beginning, you know, I would do a service. Someone come like, oh yeah, you know, you gave me your best shot. That was good. I give it like a B plus. You know, like people say weird stuff like that to me, right? Okay. But I want you to imagine me then going up on stage. And it's constantly like, oh, people are here for him. They're not here for you. What are you possibly going to say? Da-da-da. And you know, people are going to be disappointed that they came to church today. And listen, I'm not telling you this to say that this happened to you one time in the past. Like, there's barely a time that I will go up on stage and this this won't happen. It's just yapping, right? So on the other side, I've learned to host my own pet rallies. And I'm like, I am Dr. Una. I am the woman for this job. I am anointed by God to do this. I am a persuasive, powerful, dynamic speaker. Everyone who is here is going to experience a life change. Nobody's going to walk away from here different. This is going to hit them to their core, and they're going to walk away with something that makes their lives better. And so this is me saying it out loud to myself. This is my pep rally. Right? When I do events, it's the same thing. I'm the woman for this job. When I show up in the entree MD business school, it's the same thing. I'm the leader of a community of elite seven and eight-figure physician CEOs. And tonight is going to be our absolute best call, yet, highest level of transformation. People are going to be able to say, My life was going this way until I was on this session and I learned this. This is my own pep rally, right? And so you have the yapping, you can also have your own yapping. You yap too. How do you interrupt these thoughts of doubt and all of this by what you say? And so in the entream business school, we actually have a signature framework for this. So how to develop this. But think about the things that typically stop you and make you hesitate. And then write your own version. Write what you would rather have that be. Right? And then you can just say that and and look in the mirror and talk to yourself, right? Someone may say that's who no, it's not. No, it's not. The most powerful people do this. You watch athletes, you see them do this. They talk to themselves, they remind themselves, like, right? Before they go do what they do. So have pep outs for yourself, by yourself. Okay. Okay. So this is what I want you to do. After all of this, I know we've talked about a lot of stuff, but this is what I want you to do. I want you to say no to doubt once and for all. Like doubts, and that doesn't mean the doubt is going to go away. It means that you have now said no to the doubt influencing you. Right? Because you're always going to have an invitation to doubt. Like even while I'm talking to you, you're receiving invitations to doubt, but you're going to decide you don't get to influence me anymore. I will not make decisions based off of doubt. I would do my part every single day to live above doubt. And I will not, I will not let it influence me. I will not make decisions based on it. I will not stop doing what I'm supposed to do based off. I'm not going to do any of that. I'm going to show up. I'm going to be strong. I'm going to be courageous. I'm going to move forward. I'm going to take this business to the highest level. I'm going to enjoy doing it. I'm not going to have the yucky energy of doubt. I'm going to have the better energy of conviction, conviction, and persuaded that I can pull this off. There are 8 billion people on the planet. You be the person who consistently and faithfully roots for you, like roots for you relentlessly. Everybody can doubt you, but you, I don't doubt you. I have faith in you. I know you can pull it off. I know that inside of you is a version of your business that will create exponentially more impact, exponentially more time freedom, exponentially more financial freedom. I know that. So I'm rooting for you, right? So imagine I'm rooting for you for sure. You're rooting for you for sure. What? Let's go. So root for you. Don't entertain doubt. Don't tolerate it. Don't let it stop you. Don't be confused when you feel doubt. Just understand that's something to address and you don't say yes to it. Okay. I am rooting for you, rooting for you relentlessly. But let me put this in front of you. Why am I taking the time to do this? Because doubt, accepting doubt is more crippling than anything you think you don't know or you don't have or you're not. Doctors are brilliant. Your capacity to solve problems is mind-boggling. The transformation you can experience as an entrepreneur is crazy. The kind of business you can build, you cannot even imagine it now. But doubt will keep you grounded. The same way a plane that doesn't engage the law of lift will stay grounded. It may be moving and it may be even moving faster than cars, but it is not moving fast compared to what it can do. It's the same thing for you. If you get the brakes off, which is the doubt, if you get the gravity off, which is the doubt, and engage the law of lift, which is your conviction, your certainty, you will blow your own mind. And I'm not, you you guys know I don't flatter people, just say woo-woo things, right? This is what I've done. This is what I've watched so many clients do. This can be your reality. All you have to do is say, enough, no more doubt. It can still stay there, but I will never make decisions based on doubt. I will always make decisions based on conviction. I will grow my conviction and I'll make decisions based on conviction and I'm gonna blow my own mind. Okay, so I am rooting for you always relentlessly. I'm a thousand percent committed to your success, and I cannot wait to see all the things you create because now you're a person who says no to doubt. Share this with another doctor because can you imagine the physician community showing up with conviction, showing up persuaded, showing up with certainty, building these businesses that are going to turn the healthcare space, you know, like and all the surrounding spaces right side up? It's one link. So share it with them, and I'll see you on the next episode of the On Train B podcast.
